Daniel Mack Rustic Furnishings, Inc.,
is an art, design and production company in Warwick, NY, about 50 miles from New York City. Daniel Mack, the principal designer, started this work in 1978 and now works in four related areas:
1. Imaginal Artifacts and Sculptures
Since the early 1990's, Dan has been making odd objects. Back then, he called them Memory Chairs. He now makes Imaginal Artifacts: sculptural objects resembling tools and collage, but perform ambiguous and changing functions. more
2. Rustic Furnishings and Architectural Services
Dan works on major architectural projects to use natural materials as columns, stairways, fences, benches, and even a 2-story treehouse.

3. Creative Development and Coaching
Dan is committed to sharing information on how to work with natural materials. He has been teaching and writing about this for more 25 years.

He has begun on-line creativity workshops and salons with artists around the world. He is coordinating a New Arts-in-Healthcare Seminar. He has recently started Arts in Nature, a custom-workshop service for organizations interested in deepening their experience of nature and human nature. more
Dan has written seven books. There are three in print on how to build rustic furniture and there are two on the poetic powers of common objects.
Dan is currently, and forever, at work on a freely-published creative workbook, Hair on the Shower Wall.
